We would love to pamper your dogs just the same as ours!

Nikki is an owner of Dog Days. She has two Golden Retrievers, Gladys and Jersey, and a Bernese Mountain Dog named Edna. Nikki enjoys getting to see how excited the dogs are when they arrive for their visit and then seeing how happy they are to see their owners at pick up. One of the things she likes the most is getting to care for the older pups.

Karrie is one of the three owners of Dog Days. She has two Newfoundlands, Olga and Lena. She enjoys the people she works with and loves playing with the dogs. She really loves seeing all the different personalities every dog has.

Vicky is an owner of Dog Days. In addition to knowing all the operational functions of the business, her focus is on Human Resources. Lilly, Ruthie, Bernice, and Rose are her four yorkies. Vicky loves getting to know each dog and the different personalities each possess. It’s important to her knowing that Dog Days provides a safe, healthy, and happy environment for dogs to stay and play in. She has been passionate about animals her entire life, especially dogs, and being a part of Dog Days is a dream come true for her!

Kristin has been working at Dog Days since it opened in 2013. In the beginning she worked part-time helping supervise play groups, cleaning kennels, performing closing tasks, and operating the front desk while she was employed full-time at LifeScape. Her background is in Office Management, Human Resources, and Training. In 2018 when Dog Days expanded, Kristin was brought on full time as the General Manager. As part of this position, she oversees daily operations including monitoring the health and safety of the guests, quality compliance, evaluating staff performance, and customer relations. Emerald the Lab and Gracie the Golden Retriever are her two pups. In her off time, she enjoys socializing with friends and watching any type of crime documentary. It’s rewarding to her to assist in the training of staff, work with the older pups that come in, visit with customers about their fur babies, and see the excitement in the dog’s faces when they come to visit.

Lexi is the Manager of Dog Days and started working as a Kennel Attendant in January of 2018. She manages day to day activities including caring for the amazing pups and greeting and assisting customers. Overseeing the supervision of staff, answering all questions dog and facility related, and ensuring our guests are healthy and safe are also part of her responsibilities. In addition, Lexi coordinates the fun events and parties for the pups. At home Lexi has Kash, her American Bully/Pitbull Mix, who she spends time camping and fishing with during the summer. As part of her job, she enjoys getting to love and spoil our guests and learning the different personalities each dog possesses. She excels at working with the scared, nervous dogs and enjoys watching them come out of their shells. Working with staff who also share a love for dogs is very important to Lexi. Training and learning about dog behavior, especially in reactive dogs, and helping them learn to be confident in themselves is also one of Lexi’s joys in life. Lexi rarely forgets a dog’s name or face. Don’t be surprised (or offended) if you’re out in public and she knows your dog’s name but not yours.

Michaella began her employment with Dog Days in 2021 and is currently the Assistant Manager. Her job includes training and supervising staff, planning staff events, customer service, and assisting with parties for our furry guests. She has a Beagle Heeler Mix named, Fawn. Michaella enjoys getting to work with dogs every day, watching the pups make new friends and getting to know their different personalities. When it comes to the people side of her job, Michaella excels at teaching new staff members what their new jobs entail. In her off time, Michaella enjoys hiking, anything Disney, photography, baking, and reading. Ask Michaella about ONE of her many Disney trips!

Shanda is a Shift Supervisor and began her employment in 2018. As a Shift Supervisor, Shanda is responsible for ensuring playgroups are organized, staff are trained appropriately, and daily tasks are performed correctly to ensure the health and safety of our guests. Her pups at home include Mady the Lab, Myah and Mylo the Boxers, and her newest addition little Moose a Schnauzer Mix. She enjoys getting to know the different breeds that come through our doors, learning their personalities, and building a relationship with each dog. While not at work, Shanda enjoys traveling, hiking, spending time with her four fur babies, and her family. If you see a picture on our Facebook page of a pup in a super cute outfit, it’s probably her pup Moose – he’s very stylish.

Caitlyn started working at Dog Days as a Kennel Attendant in 2022. While attending Southeast Technical College to become a Veterinary Technician, she was also working her way up the ladder at Dog Days and is now a Shift Supervisor. Her supervisor responsibilities include training staff and assisting them with daily activities, assigning daily tasks, and monitoring quality compliance. She also plays a role in developing and implementing ideas for dog enrichment. Caitlyn has two Cocker Spaniels, Matrix and Jinx. The things Caitlyn enjoys about her job are getting to know the pups and their personalities as well as working with the staff and getting to know them. Her hobbies include fishing, photography, and hiking. If you ever see a cocker spaniel in the yard with colorful hair, it’s likely her pup, Matrix.
